Summer of Like is one of my MOST curiosity inducing canon events. I wonder the same things as you, what DID happen between PeteandMikey? Because something totally did. (The only other canon event that comes close in the curiosity stakes for me is the Bert/Gerard fallout, which we'll never know the real story behind).

Summer of Like fics always kill me because the canon always has their relationship end and it breaks my fucking heart. This is probably why I've written so many Pete & Mikey getting-it-on post-SOL because FIC IS WHERE WE FIX THE WORLD.
