You've got a take on Pete and Mikey here that I just adore from top to bottom that the boyfriends thing didn't work out but they still have a thing, and because basically they're totally hot together so how could they not keep having sex even if the relationship bit didn't work? And because all that aside, Mikey is such a great person to have around. Even if sometimes he just sits there with a blank face saying "Didn't work, huh?" and you just know he's laughing at you on the inside.

But also because Patrick is a crisis! And Mikey's inclusion makes so much sense, because he's so calm about it but also because he's familiar. Because Pete having sex with Mikey is familiar and it makes having sex with Patrick less whatever and more something he can cope with I guess. Most of all I'm in love with how careful and gentle and calm Mikey was dealing with Patrick. For a sex pollen marathon there's a lot of tenderness and care in here.
