Continued...

I could definitely understand Gerard's hesitation with Brian. He had so much pressure on him, plus with what happened with Bert, naturally he'd be hesitant, especially b/c Brian took the brunt of his immediate reaction. They sure had some hot sex to make up for it! LOL But back to Pete and Patrick. I loved Patrick's practicality and the way Pete could weasel through it (in the most adorable way), but you didn't make Patrick weak. He was strong enough to push Pete away, even though it clearly hurt him to do so. I think he became even stronger through those glimpses of his weaknesses. It would be one thing if he didn't care and could push Pete away, but because he cared so much and could still do it, it really made Patrick special to me. He had to do it for what was best for Pete.

Patrick thinks linearly and Pete doesn't, so when it came to putting them together, Pete had to be the one to take the pieces and arrange them in a new way. They're perfect together, and I anticipate a roller coaster of a relationship for them with lots of twists and turns, and Patrick will navigate the straight runs and Pete will handle the turns, so in the end it will be a wonderful ride. I think Gerard and Brian will have to work harder because they're pretty much alike, so I'm not sure how they'll handle rough times, but if they can stay honest with each other, it will be good. I think their best defense will be a united front and never going to bed angry. :) Yes, I'm marriage counseling your fictional characters. LOL

I read the Bob/Ryan addendum. Not worried about those two at all. :)

Thank you so much for giving me an excuse to visit your world again. :)
