this was lovely. I totally believed the universe, and all of the side arcs (Ryan and Bob! Frank! Brendon zipping around! Gabe having creepy favor powers!) really held it together and made everything feel cohesive. I also loved the easiness with which Gerard and Brian fell into each other.

Ryan was a real scene stealer, every time.

And now I really, really want an Umbrella Academy movie. Like, now.
