At the risk of sounding repetitive, this is brilliant. Your Gerard is just so broken by all his loss; he needs love so goddamn bad, but gets so caught up trying to be strong enough to save everyone else that he forgets about himself. Thank god for Frank and his dirty, beautiful mouth.
