I love what you say about the idea of their shared fantasy and capturing the lost taboo-ness of a slash pairing that's become second nature for everyone in this fandom. I wanted it to be something they BOTH get off on, and I wanted that shame, that moment of self hate from Frank when he just can't forgive himself for wanting someone who isn't Jamia, but then being able to embrace it when he realises SHE wants it too.
In my mind there is more in this verse, a hotel room, Frank and Gerard both being "REALLY? YOU TOO? Fuck, how does this even WORK?" Perhaps one day I'll write the rest, but the idea with this part was just them both getting off on the fantasy, whether or not it happens is neither here nor there.
