pikasafire is hosting a not-in-November Nanowrimo! 50k in a month, and it doesn't even have to be ONE fic. I am going to try to finish all these WIPs I got lying around. We'll see how well I do with that, eh?

2. Over on dreamwidth there is a Really Awesome Looking Bandom Rec Meme going on. I read all the way to the bottom and got sad when I ran out of comments, so go rec stuff! There's a lotta Panic happening RN and you know what they say about variety? \o/?

bigbang_mixup looks interesting! It's a reverse big bang where you can submit a fanmix and someone will write fic to it. Sadly, this one is all-fandom and it looks like no one from bandom is signed up as yet. I started thinking about a mix I'd like to make and wound up bunnying myself with a story. Oh my GOD I am NOT allowed to start any new fics. No no NO.

Has there ever been a Bandom Reverse Big Bang? That would be awesome. Someone should get on that. :D?

4. In my bbb procrastinations, I updated my Masterlist! Thanks everyone for your kind input in the poll, it was most helpful!

5. People are starting to talk about their BBB posting dates and art and mixes, but I haven't got mine yet /o\. Wave 2 has been so weird for me because it hasn't been a crazy big rush with me writing 20 000 new words in the last weeks before deadline. The fic itself hasn't really CHANGED that much in a while and I keep getting stuck in the "ugh, I don't like it, no one will read it whine whine whine" place. But hey, I am VERY excited for lots of new fic and so many of my favourite writers have written for this wave, so that's cool.

6. Anyone got time to look over a little 2k ficcy thing for me?

I've seen a reverse big bang for bandom be talked about a few times over the years, but it's never came to anything, which is sad because I think it would be amazing.

In your stories I look for a mixture of hot sex but also well written personal relationships that mean the stories always have that emotional connection. It's a really lovely combination.

I haven't got my posting date yet and I know it won't be for a while. /o\ I have so many THOUGHTS about my fic precisely because I don't love it enough, and I want to post it so I can talk about it. Damn it!

I can look over 2k fic if you either send it right now or don't mind waiting twelve hours to get it back.

i'm doing the nanowrimo thing too. yay whining together on twitter haha and haven't gotten my bbb email yet either.

idk, what is it about this wave? i feel a lot worse about my story than i did with wave one. can we whine together as well please? i'm all "this sucks, no one is going to ever want to read anything of mine ever again after this, boooooohoooooo i'm so poooooor"

That nano thing looks really interesting. I was going to do the normal nanowrimo this year, but I've done enough stressing myself over deadlines and word limits thanks to the SEVEN bigbangs I've signed up to.

I look for those magical words in your fic that I so long to see...NEN Sequel/Pizza verse *siiiiigh*

1) Yay!! I like when the writers I like say they want to try and write more ;-)

3) I wish someone wanted to organise a bandom reverse big bang. I can never sign up to do art for multifandom big bangs because I'm so terribly monofannish.

5) I didn't even know you were writing a story for this wave too! I must try to figure out which one it is. I can't believe that wave two is actually bigger than wave one. I was so sure it would be much smaller.

7) I was going to say Frank/Gerard but you do occasionally write other pairings :-)

It's difficult to pin down exactly how you do it, but the way you write Gerard is very characteristic. It's particularly noticeable in sex scenes but it's present at other times too. I really, really like it in any case and always look forward to reading your stories because of it.

I've seen/been involved in a little bit of kind of reverse BBB talk awhile back with some of my other (fan)art friends. They don't really do that kind of thing so much anymore but it was pretty much the same as that really, to create a piece of art then others create a story to go with it. I like the idea...though i feel it would give me way more stress/fear/pressure than regular BBB. I suppose the epic stress should be shared around a little though.

Im excited for this wave of BBB to kick off...but not too cause my art is actually the worst as i got all confused in the head about dates/thought i had more time than i did and didn't start on the piece till deadline day /o\ Ugh, not looking forward to that going up. Oh well, it will still be much fun :3

1) that seems highly tempting. And, I mean, I do have to write a horrorbb, so that's 10k right there.

2) I'm going through my delicious, trying to see if there's anything that won't have been recced 500 times. I thought you might want to know you are my first MCR bookmark. (I got into bandom through panic gsf, so the first dozen are that) mmmm, price of pretty.

3) I haven't signed up because there's no bandom. It would be awesome if there was a bandom only one.

4) Pretty masterlist! And by pretty I mean organised.

5) I like my story, I'm just worried it's going to get stamped with fail. It shouldn't, I have real life similar experience and I researched a ton. But it's still possible. *crosses fingers*

3)It's such a shiny Idea and I thought about signing up for mixing something bandomy but it's soo barren of bandom that I got/keep getting nervous. Also I'd totally be in if someone started up a reverse mix bbb

5) I still have heard nil about my date and info and it makes me *bite nails* and I don't know wave two has seemed very loose and just almost forgotten in a way. I lov mine but I feel no rush. and I hope people don't hate hate hate loath it..

I'm okay with my fic - I randomly have tiny things I still want to change, but it's mostly small stuff (like I turned Frank's bike into a BMX, because he actually drives one. ;-)) - it's nothing that concerns the plot, I've made my peace with it.

Hey, if you do decide to create the bandom rev BB, i'm in. There's a drum porn mix i've got in mind that wouldn't work for the mixes I did for BBB. It needs to be made and written for.

I signed up for the 'Wrimo!! Idk how I'll manage b/c all I do is come home and sleep these days, but motivation yay!

Ooh, I've never even heard of a reverse BBB but it sounds like fun. :D I'd say count me in, but me and longfic don't mix, alas. If you decide to do it and need help, though, I'm happy to do lend a hand if I can!
