Oh thank you! Sorry about the angst. Wow I don't think I've considered futurefic for this scenario. It would probably be quite self indulgent - Frank and Mikey as an established couple, maybe Frank tagging along on another tour - oh or maybe Mikey comes home to Frank at the end of a tour! And he's moved his stuff into Frank's place because he lives there now. And Gerard comes over a lot and complains good-naturedly about how Mikey doesn't stay with him when he's off tour anymore. And they have end-of-tour BBQs on the back porch with the guys from The Used when they come through Jersey to tour. And eventually they get Frank and Ray's band to play the support slot on their Jersey shows. You know, that kind of thing. <3
