OH YES! It took me WEEKS, literally weeks to find this bloody setting.

It's under the Journal tab called Customise Journal Style. The option is under Presentation-Basic settings and it's called "Disable customized comment pages for your journal" - you need to set it to 'yes', then you'll get comment pages like this one, all nice and white and blue and full-width.
