Home from the COMPLETELY AMAZING MCR GIG. I have lots of video to share but I'm dead tired and I have a train to catch tomorrow to make the Manchester gig with

krisipanics so I can't recap now. (Also, I wanted to put up just a couple of vids now but YouTube HATES me. HAAAAATES me. I WANTED TO SHOW YOU MIKEYWAY'S HAIR SHAKING DAMMIT. Oh, and the new songs. TWINS, YOU GUYS) and Lady Of Sorrows (which got Miz her gig phone call)

Mikeyway looks FUCKING HOT. Hotter than FIRE. He kept shaking his blonde locks everywhere and slaying women with his infinite cool.

Gerard ditched his jacket within the first few songs to frolic about in that black sleeveless shirt with HUUUUGE armholes that he's been wearing non stop, JFC it's going to walk away by itself soon - flashing us his nicely toned deathly white gym arms all night. He thanked everyone for being in costume. Yes of course he was wearing his LEATHER PANTS.

It's Frank's turn to have a french pirate phase.

Frank had a photo frame of the twins sitting on his amp the whole set. He brought it out with him and took it offstage afterwards.

Gerard promised us another 10 years of the band.

I would post pictures but the ones I took are seriously terrible. For some reason my camera only wants to be in focus when shooting video, not stills, so if I can get FUCKING YOUTUBE to behave you can see the boys in all their frolicking, head shaking, prancing, rolling on the floor glory.

I AM A BIT SCARED OF GERARD RAPPING. Maybe it will grow on me. I am MAJORLY EXCITED about James being on keys; I know htere was no particular reason to think that he'd go but it makes me so happy to have it confirmed. I struggle to get used to Gerard in a singlet. It would be so bogan if it weren't for the leather pants. MIKEYWAY @___@

Incidentally I thought of you today because I went to a picnic and there was a guy there who reminded me very much of Pinky Beecroft. Even before he broke out the cheap wine he stole from a plane.

OK OK OK I just want to say SO MUCH THANK YOU for the live twittering. I have stalked your twitter feed all day long and it's amazing. AMAZING to feel a tiny piece of what it was like there. I know I'll see them when they come here and it will be &hearts and everything, but this show. The first. So awesome. Thank you, srsly, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I loved reading about the ray guns not being allowed-- THAT is how much I loved the detail. I can not WAIT to see the vid. I already watched na na na from a pretty good view, but yours is rockin', so YES. I SCREAMED WHEN HE SAID "YOU FUCKING ANIMAL!" instead of "kiss me you animal."

When I read what Gee said about 10 years my heart was in my throat. SO totally amazing they NEVER disappoint.

WOW, YOU WERE ALMOST ON THE STAGE!! I ENVY YOU FIERCELY!!

I spent most of my Saturday evening feverishly refreshing the twitter list, totally the next best thing to actually being there!! And yesterday I spent looking at all the awesome photos and videos everyone'd uploaded.

I can't help but think there's something seriously strange going on when the Way brothers are wearing less clothes than Frank ;-D

I WISH THAT I WAS THERE. SO MUCH. And I can't wait to see the videos once youtube starts working again.
