Author's Notes: As soon as I saw the tracklisting I knew I'd love this mix - Dead Kennedys! Arcade Fire! Johnny Cash! This mix really feels like a soundtrack to the fic to me, and not just because it has two tracks of actual musical score on it either (Thomas Newman ♥ /soundtracknerd).

The Difference Between us by Dead Weather Band is such a great song and ties in so well with the opening of the fic - "Let's go where no one can see us, and find the difference between us." Occurrence On The Border, Chemical Warfare and Night Vision are such Killjoys-feeling songs to me, they're so badass they really fit in with the guy's 2019 personas.

The two Broken Social Scene songs are ridiculously fitting with the world and the characters and holy shit, it doesn't get much more post-apolcalyptic than The Man Comes Around by Johnny Cash. There are so many great songs on this mix and they really tie in with the world - or at least the way I imagine the world of 2019 to be.

SO fabulous. I mean, any mix that has the Man in Black is automatically going to get a thumbs up from me, but this is SERIOUSLY GREAT. I really love the musical score tracks--Newman's one of my favorite composers.
