I know everybody is squeeing and somewhat mortified over the overly photoshopped AP cover photos, but I am far more interested in this photo,

Ray sat at the computer updating the blog. Frank snuck glances at him over his guitar as he recorded. His eyes widened as Gerard wandered over, leaning on the back of the chair to read over Ray's shoulder. Frank quickly looked back at his fingers, concentrating on the frets.

He watched out of the corner of his eye as Ray grinned up at Gerard, clicking through pages on the website. He saw the exact moment Gerard paled and stumbled back, turning and walking away without a word. Ray's brow creased as he called after him, concerned. He turned back to the screen in confusion.

Understanding dawned slowly in Ray's eyes and his gaze cut to Frank. Frank cocked an eyebrow back at him before turning back to his guitar. Message delivered.

Frank climbed up Bob's back, clinging to his neck and settling on his shoulders. "Pay up."

Bob looked upwards to meet Frank's eyes, automatically locking his arms around Frank's legs to hold him steady. "What, why?"

Frank turned Bob's head towards the back of the studio. Ray had Gerard backed up against the wall, heads bent together. As they watched Gerard jerked back in surprise, looking up at Raywith surprise and hope. Ray ducked in fast, capturing Gerard's lips with his own.

Bob raised an eyebrow in surprise. "what the hell did you do?"

Frank grinned. "just showed Ray what everyone else saw when he wasn't looking."
