GAYEST SHOW EVER.
GUUUUUUUUYS! Just got home from Panic's London gig! IT WAS GREAT. Brendon is completely adorable and totally upping the ante on the stagegay with help from his very very willing guitarist Dallon. I am a little annoyed with Spencer for hiding behind his kit all night - and for having a cymbal at the EXACT HEIGHT of his face. Damn him for being so shy.

The Hardwire Harlots were out in force.
bebunny,
kopperblaze,
xclusiveantonym,
never_coming_bk and
dancinbutterfly were all in our gaggle of fangirls, plus
jenepel was around somewhere too.
So how about that Brendon?
How about him on the keyboard for Mona Lisa and then at the end of the song KICKING HIS STOOL like a fucking rockstar? How about that?
How about that point in the show where they put a couple of snares down the front of the stage - and I got REALLY excited that Spencer might like, come down to where we could SEE HIS FACE, but no, I was wrong, it was Brendon who flayed the SHIT out of them:
Or in the intro to 'Lying' when he was saying: "So who wants to get NAUGHTY tonight?" (Crowd goes wild) "Who wants to get NAKED?" (Crowd goes MORE wild) "Well just go ahead and get naked. I'm saying it's okay. You won't get in trouble, and if you do I'll bail you out."
For the record, Brendon did NOT take off any of his clothes. I was HIGHLY disappointed.

He was wearing a white shirt, a ridiculous bow tie, tight black pants and suspenders. AND a belt. (Belt and braces eh Bden?) About a song or two in he hooked his thumb under one suspender and seductively pulled it off his shoulder. He didn't actually do it to the other one (I remember the asymmetry was bothering me) so he continued for several songs that way until this exchange:
Dallon: Brendon, your suspender is not suspending.
Brendon: You can fix it later. *SMIRK*
Of course, today was Dallon's birthday. So, of course Brendon did a big speech about how he didn't want to make a big deal or anything about it, but hey, one of the band is having a birthday today, and something about wanting to sing his love for Dallon FROM THE ROOFTOPS, and then wishing him a happy birthday. Dallon turned redder and redder, then the crowd spontaneously broke into Happy Birthday To You which delighted Brendon endlessly. Then he and Dallon hugged it out. Adorable!
(Later, there was THIS TWEET from Dallon, which just proves that Panic continues to be the band that is IN LOVE and demands to have GSF written about them. &BOYS;)
And then during one song, I can't remember which one, they started channeling Frank and Gerard. Dallon FELL TO HIS KNEES at Brendon's feet, and arched back like a porn star. Brendon leaned over him and Dallon THRUST HIS HIPS UP OFF THE GROUND and STUCK OUT HIS TONGUE. (Cue demand for all the Bden/Dallon fic ever)
I'll give you a moment to picture that. (Or you can check out this reference photo because it was VERY similar to that.)
Someone threw a shoe onstage. Brendon picked it up and inspected it. "Oh this is a lovely shoe. Except it's a girl's shoe so I can't wear it. BUT SINCE WHEN HAS THAT STOPPED ME?" *SMIRK* (Cue demand for all the crossdressing fic)
Oh and later on someone had thrown a glow stick onstage and Brendon decided to put it down the front of his pants, leaving the end poking out his waistband. He pointed it at Dallon. They discussed it. There were suggestive hand motions. This was all directed at Dallon. I'm just saying.
The guys did a cover of The Smiths "How Soon Is Now" which was WONDERFUL and AMAZING and LOVELY and I have video of it here which has crappy sound so sadly does not do it justice, but it's worth it for the part 2/3rds of the way in when Bden and Dallon do a dorky little dance and then Bden threw himself at the crowd and I nearly dropped my camera because he was RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME. HI BDEN HI HI HI.
While introducing the last song of the night, Brendon decided to proposition the audience. Because he would like to fuck each and every one of us. Pity there are time constraints. Not that he doesn't have the stamina...
BRENDON YOU ARE A RIDCULOUS FACE AND AH LOVE YOU.
And what better way to end the show, than at the very end of the very last song, Brendon eyed off the crowd and dived off the stage into the audience, still managing to continue singing the entire time. Zack leapt in after him, tearing him from the hands of his adoring fans, much like a knight rescuing a damsel in distress. It took him a while to extract Brendon from the crowd as they had him by the suspenders. Brendon lost one suspender in the scuffle. ROCK STAR.
I am slightly annoyed at Spencer, who really is my favourite Panic boy, but who spent the whole gig hiding behind his kit. I did manage to get some video of him when he stood up at the VERY END and came down to throw his sticks into the crowd.
The setlist:

Pre-gig we'd seen the gaggle of fans who had scored Meet and Greet tickets go inside, so after the show we figured there probably wasn't much chance the guys would come out to sign. We hung around for a while anyway, and Zack came out and told the (rather large) group of people who were waiting by the stage door that the guys were really tired and weren't going to come out. The crowd thinned a little, we hung around a little longer thinking maybe we'd get to see them en route to the bus at least, and the crowd thinned a litte more and then a TINY WEE HOTASS came out!

He was really sweet and such a gentleman. There were still quite a bunch of us out there and Zack warned us that not everyone would get seen, Brendon would go down and back on the line ONCE and those up the back should hold their stuff forward. Since
xclusiveantonym and I were the tallest with the longest arms, we proferred tickets on behalf of everyone.
Missed Brendon on his first pass and he went past my waving hand on his second pass, but Zack saw me holding out my three tickets and directed Brendon to them. At which point I apologised "Sorry there's three of them" because apparently that's what I do when I meet famous people. I apologise a lot. BUT I did manage an actual conversation.
(Backtory: when we showed up at the venue that afternoon we got their during sound check and we could hear them sound checking through the doors. We heard them doing Mona Lisa and Always and then THEN I heard the strains of a very familiar song. Not a Panic song - no, but AC/DC's Highway to Hell. Brendon was KILLING IT, doing the throaty voice and everything. It was hilarious. They either did the whole song or a large chunk of it, I was half expecting it to be on the setlist.)
But YES I had someting to talk to him about.
Me: Hey, you did a great job on that AC/DC song in soundcheck, you were really channelling Bon Scott.
Brendon: You guys could HEAR THAT? (Looks embarrassed and delighted)
Me: Yeah, we were listening through the doors like a couple of creepers.
And thus is the story of how I told Brendon I was a creeper.
But hey! I got to meet Patrick Stump and Brendon Urie in the SAME WEEK. That is some gig mojo right there. Wahey!
The Hardwire Harlots were out in force.

Like when Hollie was telling Frank about how we were flying to Norway to see them, and Frank was like "Really? :D" at which I thought would be the perfect time to say, "Yeah! We cancelled our wedding to do this tour!" And Frank went from :D to o_O and then turned to Gerard and said "Did you hear that? That's fucking CRAZY!"
ANYWAY! So glad you had a good time ^_^ I do love me a bit of Panic! :)

I'm sidetracked right now at work, recording the audio for the Ustream they just did lol. TOMORROW I SEE MCR THOUGH. AND THE NEXT DAY. AND OMG I'M TRYING NOT TO THINK ABOUT IT SO I SLEEP TONIGHT.
I'm sure you'll see the flood of emotions and incoherence on Sunday. :DDDD LOVE YOU!

It was an awesome gig! So much fun and then I wound up at surprise!signing the next day and got to meet Spencer too! YAY GIG LUCK.
no subject
SO HAPPY FOR YOU! Spencer is also my favorite, but Brendon is trying really hard to take that from him lately. ;)
Did you see their UStream? Brendon actually read aloud "Spallon, heheh Spencer/Dallon" ANNNNND I almost died, because that i way too close to what I want out of life right now. Dallon sneaked up on me and made me fall in love. I bought all the Brobeck albums on itunes because I'm crazy like that. What I'm trying to say, is that if you write Dallon with ANYONE, (or all of 'em) I WILL READ THE SHIT OUT OF IT.
Sosososososo happy for you right now. I'm trying to get tickets to the Terminal 5 show because it's actually on my 25th birthday. What better way is there to celebrate being a quarter of a century old? *crosses fingers*
AND PATRICK. Did you get a chance to hear him talk? He was mute (no lie) at the end of both my shows. No speaking voice whatsoever. He was still ridiculously adorable and so sweet! THIS MAN. I'M PRETTY SURE PETE INVENTED HIM BECAUSE THERE IS NO WAY HE WAS BORN THE SAME WAY WE WERE.
long reply is long. ILU! Glad you had fun!

Dude. Dallon. He just WANTS us to write fic about him. And Bden is encouraging him ALL THE WAY. He's SO MUCH GAYER since he got himself a girlfriend. I love it.
Good luck getting tickets! And happy birthday in advance!
PATRICK IS THE SWEETEST. Seriously, he got MOBBED in the bar, and he was so patient and lovely with everyone. I basically just apologised at him eleven million times and got him to sign my ticket for
ILU2!

That sounds so amazing, especially Brendon's stage dive.

Brendon's stage dive was insane. He's such a rockstar. I loved how Zack DOVE in after him like the great protector he is. He is such a mother hen with all of them.

how wonderful! even with the telling-brendon-you-are-a-creeper bits!

I HAD A MISFITS SHIRT ON (NOT THAT YOU SAW ME ANYWAY BUT)
Ugh it was so awesome and when How Soon Is Now came on I think I died
(P.s I went to Patrick too and he was taller than me :/)
no subject
That's so funny because I was wearing a Misfits t-shirt when I went to the surprise!HMV signing!
Ugh, I loved that cover of The Smiths so much. SO much. And Patrick is also a tiny hotass. My #tinyhotass hashtag is getting much abuse on Twitter lately.
London Bandomers Unite!

Haha yeah I totally agree, everyone was swooning over Brendon and I was like <3____<3 DALLON aha but yeah! I fell in love with Spencer that night, too. My boyfriend (hopefully) is going to be in Kerrang! on wednesday beacause there was a guy interviewing him *swoon*
Omg that's awesome! Yeah I saw that tag, you go girl!
Now all we need is MCR back and then it would truly be Londoner Bandomers!!

Ahem um hi xD I was with eflorentino at the patrick and panic show (I am tall and blonde and was wearing a dr who shirt both times idk if you saw me) so I am not randomly butting into your convo or anything it's just that luv for spencer is important and necessary!!!

That cover is holy shit SO BEAUTIFUL. Wow. It's hard to cover the Smiths well, but Brendon can be really operatic, I find, which is perfect for Morrissey. UGH searching forever for a good quality mp3. And HIGHWAY TO HELL, FOR REAL? UNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNFFFFFFFFFFFF ♥_______♥
I am glad PATD now knows you are a creeper. ILU
no subject
Yes, I'm glad Bden knows I'm a creeper too. *shakes head sadly* I fail so hard. But whatever, it was fun!
no subject
And yet, and yet. I want GSF fic, where Brendon basically gays it up with Dallon all of the time and they sort of have this on-the-road-fucking relationship going. And Spencer looks on all WHATEVS. But deep down he's all conflicted, because obvs him, Brendon and Ryan and Jon used to do it, but then they left and Brendon sort of withdrew from Spencer and now Spencer's all DDD: IT WAS ME HE DIDN'T WANT and then Brendon, Dallon and Ian have the sex and Spencer finds out and is FURIOUS and him and Brendon get in a fistfight and it turns out that Brendon's been pining for Spence but didn't know how to approach him anymore after the band broke up. AND THEN THEY ALL HAVE SEX!

What is it about Panic that makes me want GSF? Ugh, THEM.
To show my support and enthusiasm please allow me to furnish you with some INSPIRATIONAL IMAGES.
I'll just be over here waiting for the GSF. *whistles innocently*
no subject
Also, totally love that you managed to get Bden's audience-fucking speech recorded. Oh that boy...
no subject
Oh I was so lucky that I happened to be filming when he did the fucking speech. I should have kept going for the whole song because that was the one he crowd-surfed during, but I don't like to take too many photos/videos at gigs, I like to actually watch them.
So much fun! And thanks so much for the heads up about the signing, I still can't believe that happened.

Excellent recap is excellent! Can't wait for the US dates now.

also idk how great it is that the night I came back I searched furiously for all dallon/spencer/bden that's ever been written? (not enough)
