I love guessing games!

Hey hey hey, so it was pouring rain yesterday and I got soaked on the way to work :( but I dried out eventually and my day improved with the addition of a nice cup of tea and some Patrick Stump.

I don't really believe in New Years resolutions, but I'm going to try to post more and keep up with comments this year. And COMMENT ON FICS when I READ THEM, fuck I am so BAD at doing that. I spent most of my spare moments yesterday clearing my LJ inbox and answering comments from as early as like, July. So if you got a comment reply from me for something you posted ages ago - that's why!

Anyway - today is the reveals for the

bandomstuffsit! I'm taking a page out of

turps33's book and asking - does anyone want to guess which one I wrote? (Hint: If you're on twitter you'll know I was freaking because it involved writing characters I'd NEVER written before, and I was whining about it. So there's that, but I feel like aside from that aspect it is obvious from SPACE that I wrote it.)

Anyone got a guess? Anyone? C'mon play with meeeeee...

I'll also take this opportunity to pimp the story that was written for ME and say I'm rather desperate to know who wrote THAT too! It's The Things Frank Plays by SOMEONE AWESOME. Gerard gets hard to handle on tour so Lindsey hires him a hooker, in the form of FRANK. It's really fucking gorgeous, hot, adorable, funny and I just LOVE the way that Frank is written in it. And Gerard is so GERARD, and did I mention the sex? Because it is SMOKING.

How about a list of some of the other stories from the exchange I really enjoyed?

Standing On The Edge Of Believing Mikey/Frank, Mikey/Ray, Mikey/Gerard - Remember that interview when they asked the guys 'if you could be one of the other members of the band for a day, who would it be?' and they ALL said Mikey? Well this story bodyswaps Mikey with Frank, Ray and Gerard for a day each and jesusfuckingchrist it's GREAT. The relationships are wonderful and the guys exploring their own bodies and each others bodies is awesome, the banter is great and the sex is FUCKING HOT. (There is Ray being held down. Also, there is crossdressing. Holy FUCK.)

Mikey Way And The Quest For The Stone Mikey/Frank - You guys get this, it's a fic based on Romancing The Stone! You know, that awesome movie from the 80's where Kathleen Turner is a romance novelist who accidentally winds up in an adventure? Mikey Way as a Twilight-esque novelist! Frank as an Indiana-Jones style hero! Ray as a fanboy drug baron! Gerard accidentally stumbling into an international crime ring! Heroics and adventure and awesome porn! This story has it all and it's just SO MUCH FUN.

In My Blood Like Holy Wine Mikey/Frank, Mikey/Gerard, Mikey/Frank/Gerard - Ugh, really really well written threesome that explores the Mikey/Gerard pairing with all the angst I need to read with my Waycest and loads of awesome emotion. And the sex is really hot and unapologetically DIRTY in the best way.

Clandestine Boys Have Nothing To Hide Pete/Patrick - Where Pete runs a Porn company and Patrick needs to make some money to keep his music studio afloat. Adorable world and I want ALL the side stories! Particularly about Brendon who specialises in crossdressing and Ray (I know, you're so surprised). Surprisingly sweet for a fic about a porn company and the Pete/Patrick is sincerely lovely.

Food Of Love (Play On) Ryland/Alex - Okay, so here's the thing, I don't CARE if you don't know who Alex and Ryland are (I barely do) READ THIS FIC. READ IT. It is SO GOOD. Ryland is an actor who is also a waiter and Alex is a chef who woos him with food, but that's not even the point, the point is they are both AWESOME and Gabe is cracky and fantastic and Ryland does accents on Wednesdays and pretends to be Chip from Georgia who dreams of being a celebrity dog-walker because he earns better tips that way. I am not selling this well enough. Just read it, please, you won't regret it.

Mr Smooth And Friends Ryan/Spencer - Really adorable high school AU with fantastic banter!

Care And Maintenance Of The Way Brothers Ray/Mikey/Gerard - Two Words: Toppy Ray. *________________*

Trade Mistakes Brendon/Spencer - Bodyswap fic done right. You have to appreciate a fic where Brendon convinces Spencer that he needs a blow job FOR SCIENCE.

the times, they are a-changing, or: a modern marriage of convenience Brendon/Spencer - Dallon suggests Brendon and Spencer hook up since they are both single. Adorable and hot!

Dude. I am soooooo bad at guessing. Like, possibly I would have guessed Practical Application's author if I wern't aheminvolvedahem in it. But only possibly!

LOL so far the only person to kind of figure out mine already knew what band it was, so I guess my pairing really threw people off.

I totally agree about Squids and Plaid and Hold It In - totally adorable stories, both of them.

It was really well written and while the characters would have thrown me off as not your usuals I know that's not an issue here.

Okay I can reply now and say no, but that was actually a really good guess because it wasn't an MCR guess! But yeah, I branched out and wrote Panic and freaked out the entire time.

I read the Quest for the Stone one last night and was absolutely 100% sure you had written it-- and then I got to the comments and realized you hadn't XD My only other guess is that

I think I might have to put the Romancing the Stone AU on my to-read list after all, even if it isn't a pairing I care for at all. Everyone seems to have something good to say about it.

I'm reading Standing On the Edge Believing right now - it's so good!- and I totally agree with you about In My Blood Like Holy Wine.
