Did I just Friend You?

I am taking this opportunity to friend all those amazing inspiring authors who's work I've been salivating over since Bandom kidnapped my brain about five months ago. Because I am one of those people who's too shy to do it. I read, I comment (hopefully in some kind decipherable way) and then I hover my cursor over the "add them as a friend" link and then I go "oh but but but" and then I don't click it.

Time to throw caution to the wind.

So yes, if I just friended you HI THERE. I don't expect you to friend me back, but if you do I will probably do some kind of dance. Either way my f-list will be so much more the richer with your updates and now I wont have to wait for your work to hit dotcoms_refresh before I get to read it.

Oh what was that? You don't know me from Adam? Well hi! I am an Australian currently living in the UK, I work in the creative industries and I read and write slash, possibly rather obsessively. I think Gerard has an oral fixation, Frank wont ever mature beyond his mental age of twelve, I really miss Mikey's glasses and I am slowly overcoming my shame from having fallen in love with Pete and all of his ridiculous Wentzian ways.

I write smut mostly, my list is here - though the fics that seemed to have attracted most notice are The Blue Room, Price of Pretty and Skeleton Records, I'm not entirely sure why. I recently signed on for bandombigbang (both waves) in an attempt to break the 10 000 word barrier and invoke some semblance of a plot beyond "something happens which leads to sex". I'm more of a cat person than a dog person, a tea drinker and a bit of geek.
